Vicki Ann Albers

Vicki Albers is the wife of John Albers. His two sisters Mary, Ruth and myself ( his niece by marriage) are setting this up for John in the hopes of taking some burden off of him. My husband Shawn Latham spent a lot of time with both of them during his childhood. He is the child they never had. From staying the summers on different Army bases to movies, 4th of July parties, seeing different states, to going to work with Vicki while she groomed dogs. He has picked up life skills, a big heart, and memories that he is holding onto.

Vicki loved grooming and everyone love how great she was at that. She loved dogs. Vicki past away on August 20th from a Aneurysm. Prior to this finial hospital visit John had a heart surgery to place a device in his heart to stop blood clots from forming. They had previously used there life savings to pay for her cancer treatments and other medical expenses they both had occurred.

John wants a simple cremation and no service for her at this time. None of the funeral homes in our area will allow payments after a death. We are hoping that this will raise enough money to pay for these final expenses.

We have found a wonderful funeral home that has reasonable rates to transfer her to. However, he needs help to pay for the cost of taking her into custody, finalizing the paperwork, and the cremation. Anything you can give will be appreciated. As a family we want to get this taken care of so John can begin to heal from losing his soul mate of more than 50 years.
