Vicki Landers Life Expenses

Donation protected
If you know my family or myself, you know that asking for help is not something that comes easily to anyone of us. We are proud people and hard workers, but sometimes life gets to be more than you can handle on your own.

Most everyone knew my mother as 'Momma Vicki'. Everyone that had even the smallest of interactions with her would describe her as having a pure soul full of love. She was diagnosed with Acute Myoblastic Leukemia in August and was admitted to Baylor Cancer Center in Dallas the very next day. She finished her first round of chemo successfully. While the chemo took is effects on her body, she was taken over by a rare infection that Doctors are unable to treat due to her existing End Stage Renal Disease and being a current Dialysis patient. While we are enjoying the last days with my mom, we also must plan for the events that are facing us. My Dad, her life partner and best friend of 50 years, is retired, on a fixed income and due to her preexisting conditions, she did not qualify for life insurance once his employer benefits ceased. That being, funding for a funeral that honors her wishes are limited.

I have always believed Death with Dignity is one of the most precious gifts you can give someone and I believe that even more today then I did in the beginning. All updates and arrangements will be given on my Facebook Page.

God Bless
