Vicki Searle’s Fight Fund

In early November, Vicki had such excruciating pain that she went to the doctor. The doctors could not figure out the answer so they sent her home to wait for results of the additional tests they ordered.

Vicki and her family prepared to celebrate the holidays. They had a lot to celebrate. This past year has been a hard one for the Searle family. Their daughter was in a horrific car accident in March that almost killed her. The doctors said she might not ever walk again, but Vicki stayed by her daughter’s side night and day, for months, until her daughter healed and slowly learned to walk again.

Things were looking up for their family until December when the first set of tests came back. Vicki was given the devastating news that she had a large tumor in her uterus. She had an emergency surgery to save her life two days before Christmas. They had to take out her uterus, her ovaries, and part of her colon. Then a week after surgery she was rushed to the emergency room where they discovered an abscess that almost took her life. She was in the hospital for a week as they drained the 3 L of infection out of her abdomen.

In January, the results came back from the tests on the tumor: it was a very rare & aggressive cancer, stage 4 Leiomyosarcoma Cancer. This was devastating news, but Vicki is a fighter! This cancer is taking a toll on her body and her family, but she is not giving up!

Her amazing husband, Sean, has been by her side the whole time. He would do anything for her and his family. The doctors say there’s nothing else they can do …but Vicki is not done fighting. Right now Vicki is working hard to be healthy enough to travel to Mexico for treatment.

Vicki is a loving mom of 6 (+1), fantastic wife & incredible sister, daughter & friend! We love her SO much!❤️ She is always serving and it is not uncommon to find Vicki and Sean helping others who need a little extra help. They are amazing! Now they need our help!

As you can imagine, this sickness has created a mountain of medical bills. Her husband, Sean, is constantly by her side, and had to take time off work to help her fight this disease. The bills will be well over $100,000 - even with insurance. This is the reason we set up this GoFund Me campaign. This money will be given directly to Sean and Vicki for medical bills and other expenses.
