Aloha, my name is Mike Wood and I am deeply saddened by the loss of Vicki Wood.

A Mother, daughter, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, Wife, Healer and Friend. Her sudden and tragic end has left many in shock. Vicki has touched and helped so many people in her life. She grew up in South Carolina. She was an honour student and a cheerleader in high school. She started a business with her first husband Rick, after completing a degree in mathematics. A successful entrepreneur although two of her greatest accomplishments during this period are her first two children, Blaze and Clay.

Vicki was a free spirit and to put into one word a "magical" person. She moved to Alaska in pursuit of adventure. She found it! Her other two greatest accomplishment were soon to come. Her first daughter Hali Moondog arrived followed by Neva Rainbow, with their father Sean. Vicki worked as a commercial fisherwoman in some of the most remote fishing grounds in the world. Not one to take any down time she also worked with Sean to help operate Alaska Heli skiing. With her business savvy and Sean's Mountain knowhow, AK Heli Skiing has become a premiere destination. AK Heli Skiing has attracted and played host to the best skiers and snowboarders in the world.

She then moved to Pemberton, BC to pursue organic farming with her eventual second husband Mike. Together they grew productive market gardens and garlic growing operations. Her business acumen was not lost as she soon started turning those vegetables into juice at farmers markets in Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish.

Her journey took her to Hawaii next. She enrolled in the Maui Massage School in Makawao. She caught the interest of a local Kumu who taught a local lineage of Lomi Lomi (traditional Hawaiian Massage). She spent 8 years training and working under Kumu Jeanna at the Ho' Omana Spa.

She then moved to Bellingham, Washington to reunite with all of her children together, while also creating a loving space for her fifth greatest accomplishment - granddaughter Mahina. Vicki carried on as a healer in this new area working with a Chiropractor in Sedro, while also sharing her knowledge and healing gifts at the Bow Sanctuary in nearby Bow, Washington.

Vicki's life ended suddenly and tragically on January 6th, 2024. She leaves behind her two parents Lenwood and Jeannie. Four children Blaze, Clay, Hali and Neva. Granddaughter Mahina. Her Brother Chris and his wife Tammy. One niece Britta. Her husband Mike. As well as countless friends and extended O'hana.

The family appreciates any help & assistance in this time and will be sharing updates on her celebration of life as soon as they can.

All funds donated through this page will be used to fulfill Vicki's final wishes and to help her immediate family prepare for a new chapter in their lives.
