Hello to all of our dear friends and family, I am writing this message along with my brothers and sisters, to open the door into our lives and share with you the story of our dear mom Vicki Lish.
In May of 2014, our cute mom Vicki Lish, was diagnosed with ALS- (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s Disease). ALS is a progressive, terminal disease with no known cause and no known cure.
Our defense against this incurable disease is our faith in God and love and support of family and friends. Vicki is a fighter and will give this horrible disease a run for it's money before she lets it get her down!

Throughout our lives our mom Vicki, has been the epitome of class! She is the most caring and loving mother and wife- and has devoted every moment of her life to ensuring the health and well-being others. There is not single moment when she was not there to support and help us, no matter the situation. Despite her being clutched by the horrible disease, she STILL puts others needs first. This is why we are creating this campaign, to return that love and support to her!!

Quilting is her passion! Every year she and her friends packed up and headed to QUILTING RETREATS. She LOVED these trips! She and her friends had THE BEST time. She shared so many stories about the wonderful time they had. Her dear friend Linda shares:
“Vicki is one of my dearest friends! We became acquainted through quilting. I worked at a quilting store and Vicki was a customer. Within no time at all there were a group of five of us that became fast friends, really more like sisters. For years we went on quilting retreats together to sew and take classes but more importantly to have a great time! And have a great time we did! Together we have laughed, cried, consoled, encouraged, and even smoked fake candy cigarettes together! One of my favorite expressions that Vicki says often when referring to someone is "she is such a dear". Vicki is such a dear to me! I love you Vicki!”

We cannot wait for her to come home from the hospital and we her family, want to be with her every minute.
We are starting campaign to help us ensure that we can continue to continue to give her the tender, loving care that she has so generously given to all of us and so many of you.

With love,
The Lish, Acomb & Westenskow.. am I missing anyone? JK!!
Thanks to all of you!!
