Vicki Sprouse's Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Vicki Sprouse. I am 44 years old and my last remaining dream in life is to start a family and have a child.

I say last remaining dream because all of my other dreams in life have been destroyed.

For those of you that know me - know the circumstances of how I have got to this point in my life. For those of you that don't know me, I will briefly explain that I have been fighting with the United States government for over 10 years regarding criminal conduct in which I was convicted. I absolutely maintain my innocence and am in the process of the lengthy appeals process.

I am a member of New Charlotte Church in Charlotte, North Carolina and I live near the uptown area in Charlotte. I have four sisters. Both my mother and father are deceased. I have never been married nor had any children.

I have never previously had children, because it wasn't until I was 31 that I met my future husband. Shortly thereafter, this legal battle began and assumed it would be over in a year or two. I vowed to start my family when this was over.

I could not, in good conscience, get married or have children and subject them to my circumstances. It just wouldn't be right to expose an innocent child to this situation and so I have held off. However, this case has dragged on for over 10 years and I am running out of time to fulfill the only dream I have left.

For the last six years, I have been under house arrest. I literally can not leave my house, except for legal appointments, medical appointments and church services. I am not allowed to work or provide for myself.

I have been anxiously waiting for a time when this is over so I can begin my life and fulfill my dream. But my time to have a child is quickly running out. My doctor has recommended that I freeze my eggs to preserve them until the time when this is over and I could in good consience have a child. I have already done the testing to ensure I have the quantity and quality of eggs available for this procedure to be successful.

My doctor has told me that if I wait until this situation is resolved, I most likely will not still have the quantity or quality of eggs left to get pregnant.

Now I need your help - I need $20,000 to pay the cryopreservation facility to make this dream come true.

I want to be clear that this is not an investment, but a donation to help me fulfill my greatest dream.

Thank you for reading my story.
