Victim loses Everything when Fire Destroys Home

Donation protected
Anyone who knows Scott Casler knows he’s the first guy to help anyone.  Let’s show him how much we all care.  In the early morning of February 4th Scott's home in Lake Hauto was completely destroyed.  He awoke to smoke & flames caused by an electrical fire & tried to stop it but the fire spread too quickly.  As he attempted to escape, he heard his cat, Tigger, crying inside & ran back in to save her.  Just as he found Tigger, Scott began to become overcome by smoke & barely escaped with his life,  exiting the house without even shoes on his feet & nothing but Tigger & the clothes on his back.  Scott stumbled to his neighbor's house, knocked on her door, called out for help, & collasped in a snow bank.  The fire department was unable to save his home & as they were trying to put it out, all Scott was worried about was keeping the flames from spreading to his neighbor's home.  His entire home & everything in it was lost & he had no insurance.  Scott suffered smoke inhalation as well as 2nd & 3rd degree burns & spent weeks in the burn unit at the hospital, requiring surgery & skin grafts.  Even his car was destroyed from the fire.  It is a horrific and devastating feeling to realize you have lost everything  & have absolutely no possessions left.  Because he had no insurance on the home, the funds will be used to help replace the necessities lost in the fire...everything from clothes to personal belongings, and to help get a new home & vehicle.  If you want to help, prayers and any size donation will be helpful  to offset his expenses.  Scott has always been a hard worker & it will take him some time to heal.  He is such a great friend to everyone & is always willing to do whatever it takes to help everyone else & would give his friends the shirt off his back. We really want to help support him to get him back on his feet since he's aways been there for everyone else! Thank you!  As horrific as this is, we are counting our blessings that Scott is alive.  We are SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL for everyone’s support!
