Victim of a shooting medical expenses

On Sunday January 17th, my mother was a victim of a shooting in Houston.  She suffered two gun shot wounds to her back, she was also rushed to a hospital nearby. She had an emergency operation in order to remove the bullet and fragments.  She received several blood transfusions  to save her life. She was admitted into the hospital for close observation. She is a 42 year old mother of 4 who now has to pay for her medical bills. Any amount is appreciated.
