A Victim of a Drunk Driver Needs Your Help
Donation protected
On Tuesday night (9/17/19), while traveling home from a dinner with her mom and friends, Jessica Thomas was hit by a drunk driver at approximately 8:30 pm at the intersection of East Lake Road and Keystone Blvd. Jessica took the brunt of the impact, which created life threatening injuries. She was life-flighted from the scene, where EMT’s and later surgeons did a tremendous job keeping her alive. We are incredibly grateful that she is alive, and will survive, but her injuries are extensive and will require several more surgeries and a long road of recovery.
Jessica is a young, vibrant person, who is always smiling, happy and full of life! She is going to school to become a dental hygienist and works part time as a game master at a local escape room. Her family, friends, and co-workers have come together to help support her, and we are asking the community to also help if they can. Jessica has a lot of things she needs to worry about right now, we are hoping that we can take one less burden off of her plate. Please keep Jessica in your thoughts, and remember it costs much less to take an Uber or Lyft, than it does to take a life.
