Helping Francisco Startover

Hello all, I am starting a Gofundme for a family member who was severely shot in the Rancho Tehama Mass Shooting on November 14, 2017. Francisco the husband to my cousin, Marta, and a father to their 3 year old boy, Emanuel. They are residents of Rancho Tehama, Ca. and have lived there for about 2-3 years. The morning of the shooting Francisco was on his way to the local post office where he came in contact with the police trying to capture the shooter. Francisco not being aware of the situation or what had happened he pulls to the side of the road to make way for the policemen but while stopping, the shooter  pulled up right next to his car and started shooting at him. The shooter shot him on the leg making the bullet go through his groin that eventually hit an artery that lead to his heart causing him to lose a lot of blood. In the difficult state he was in, he managed to escape from his car to run away from the shooter as much as possible while the shooter chased after him trying to target at Francisco to injure him once more. Seconds later the police ran over the shooter and eventually shot him to his death. Francisco, had no way of contacting his wife because he was taken by a helicopter to the hospital.  She had to endure hours of not hearing back from her husband and which later lead her to call the sheriffs but no signs of Francisco were heard of. Later that night, she calls the sheriffs again and then gets told she’ll be receiving a call from the local Sheriff’s department where she was informed that her husband underwent major surgery that nearly saved his life but the bullet did a lot of internal damaged that will lead Francisco to a long road of recovery. Francisco is still currently in the ICU and his family is very shaken up by this whole situation. They have temporarily unattended their jobs and are now helping francisco get the proper medical attention he needs in order to get better! Anything is appreciated!!
