Last night Brittany lost a piece of her heart that can never be replaced.  She and her fiancé were at the wrong place at the wrong time and they were both shot while attending a music performance. Tragically, her fiancé Alex did not make it and was taken from her in a hateful crime. He was only 25 years old and his life ended before it really started.  His family lost a son, brother, cousin and friend, but most importantly a future husband and amazing father to their 5 year old son.

Nothing in the world can take away the pain and suffering, but any little bit can help lessen the burden, since Alex was the primary provider for his family.  Right now Brittany is worried how she’s going to be able to pay the bills on the 1st of the month instead of focusing on grieving.  The immediate goal is to help her with monthly bills while they try to figure out next steps.

Now more than ever, Brittany needs her community to help her through an excruciatingly painful time.
