Victim of The Laguna Hills Shooting
Donation protected
My husband Larry Rojas was shot multiple times while on duty as he was patrolling during his job at Nellie Gail Ranch in the city of Laguna Hills on Tuesday October 17, 2023. We are still in absolute shock and speechless at this horrific and evil act that was committed against him unprovoked. We would like to foremost thank everyone for their prayers and support.
His parents, brother, loved ones and friends are completely focused on his recovery. His injuries are life threatening and if survivable will be a long and difficult recovery. We are staying as positive and strong as possible. We ask for everyone to please pray for him and his family. To please respect our privacy as we are doing our best to find every shred of strength and hope to deal with this moment by moment.
Larry's life has always been dedicated to helping others, his love of nature and animals. He has worked in the social work field, from doing homeless outreach to working with children with autism. He made it his mission to make a positive impact in this world.
We never would have imagined that when he left to work that morning that he would not be coming back home. That when he last saw his loved ones that that would possibly be the last time they would talk to him, hug him and tell him how much we loved him.
Thank you for your continued support and please hug your loved ones. Life is fleeting and unpredictable. This pain and suffering is something no one should have to endure.
