Victims of DUI; help with medical-surgical bills
Donation protected
Hello, my two nieces, Ella (age 9) and Sofia (age 7), were victims of a DUI accident on March 2, 2022.
The crash was horrific, with both girls suffered multiple abrasions-contusions and Sofia suffered multiple leg fractures. They were flown to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. After a week in the hospital, they were discharged to the care of their father, Eugene, who has not involved in the accident. He is a single parent and has invested all his energy and resources into the girl's recovery. The girl's care following this traumatic accident are complex, with visits to a Pediatrician, Orthopedic Surgeon, Dentist/Orthodontist, Physical Therapy, Mental Health counselor and other health professionals. As a result, the father has recently lost his job in construction as he is spending all of his time attending to the girl's needs.
We are asking for the assistance from the community to help offset the cost of the girl's medical care (hospital stay, surgery, etc) along with support for their ongoing home care and schooling (food, supplies, etc).
