Victims of Elderly Fraud Scheme
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mary and I am raising funds for my parents Rita and Wally. My parents are the most giving people and would give the shirt off their backs to help those in need. They are 92 and 93 years old and in poor health. My father is battling advanced Parkinson's, and my mother advanced Osteoporosis. They dedicated their lives to raising their family and are now in the sunset of their lives.
Someone who preys upon the elderly called my parents and pretended to be one of their grandchildren. They said they were in jail from a car accident and needed $8,000 for bail. My mother went to the bank and got the money. This person then CAME TO THEIR HOME and took the money. This charade was all a scam. Their granddaughter was not in jail. There was no car accident. It was a disturbed and vial individual to come into their lives and cause them so much grief and pain.
I want to find a way to replace their $8,000. Any help would be so appreciated.
My parents are simply the best. This situation is so disturbing I can get my head around it.
Thank you for any support, and may you all be forwarned of how awful these individuals are.
