Bucha, Irpin, Mirioupol, Kharkiv and other towns are under dire conditions. Help Ukrainians when they are protesting not just their freedom, but democracy for ALL!!!

Hello! Marta (Ukranian, 37 yrs), Ryan (American, 41 yrs) & our son Jack (50/50 Ukrainian American, 6 yrs) here...

Over 10 Million of Ukrainian people have become refugees overnight due to the brutal and unjustified Russian invasion of Ukraine. While many have left their homes with no more than a single suitcase or just with the clothes on their back, have traveled to other countries to seek shelter, the majority remain displaced in Ukraine and they all need the world's help! I (Marta) was born in Lviv, Ukraine and grew up there. Most of my relatives are still in the country and with each daily phone call, they plead for help. I can hear the air raid sirens in the background as they plead for someone to come and help them. They speak of the brutality they are seeing firsthand at the hand of the Russian military and bombings. Ukraine is a peaceful, sovereign nation, with rich culture and a long history of unwavering and unparalleled bravery. Nevertheless, we need to step up and answer their calls.

Top items that Ukrainians need are:
1. Baby food and formula
2. Medications especially: Motrin, Advil, cold medicine for adults and kids
3. Thermometers
4. Gloves (rubber)
5. Medical tape, gauze and bandages, medical wraps
6. Feminine hygiene
7. Diapers, all sizes from baby to toddler and adults
8. Soap
9. Deodorant
10.Trash bags
11. Snacks (cookies, crackers, candies, grab and go items that do not need refrigeration with long shelf life)
12. Rice, Beans & Dried Grains

We are collecting all of these items at Ryan, Marta & Jack's house in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, March 26th and also at Acadian Kitchens (206 Burgess Drive, Broussard, LA....Ryan's place of work) on Sunday, March 27th. Our goal is to fill 2 entire Truckloads of these goods for the people of Ukraine! This is where we need your help...

Ryan works with a global, military grocery distributor (SpartanNash) who, with the help of the "Convoy of Hope", ship products from their hub in Norfolk, Virginia directly to Ukrainian refugees in Europe and into the Ukraine.

2 Truckloads from Louisiana to Virginia will cost ~$4,000 - $5,000 to pack & ship....The US Military & Convoy of Hope thankfully handle it from there.

Any money not spent on freight will be spent directly on more food and supplies for Ukrainian people.... This is our promise to you. If we can fill 3, 4, 5, or even 10 truckloads with goods, we will put every penny toward doing that! We appreciate any level donation you can provide. Nothing is too small or too big right now to help Ukrainian people.

Слава Україні! "Glory to Ukraine!"
