Victor Cunanan's Funeral and Medical Expenses

Hello everyone,

My name is John Cunanan, and I'm writing on behalf of my family to share the heartbreaking news of my father, Victor Cunanan's passing. Last Monday night, on June 3, 2024, around 9:10 PM, my younger brother and I witnessed a firsthand tragic accident near Apple Valley Civic Center Park that took our father's life. It happened after a beautiful day at the park, where my dad was joyfully spending time with the family and his very first granddaughter. On our way home, wearing all our required gear (lights, vest, helmet, etc.), my dad was biking with my younger brother and me when my father was suddenly struck from behind by a large vehicle. The impact was so severe that it sent my father flying very far. I quickly rushed to my father to render aid before the medic arrived, as he was not breathing and was unconscious. The whole family is devastated by this tragic loss. My father was a kind and loving father. His neighbors and church community also know him well due to his helpful, thoughtful, and admirable character.

My father was a disabled Army Veteran and the main financial provider for our family. With his unexpected passing, my mother and my three younger siblings, who are still dependent on his income, are in urgent need of financial support. We seek assistance to cover the funeral and medical expenses incurred during this difficult time.
