urgent plea for helps: dad needs your support

As many of you know in August 2023 dad was the victim of a brutal attack by 2 Rottweilers!

The assault left him with life altering injuries resulting in the loss of his left leg and right arm. Thanks to help from a local neighbour and the emergency services, his life was saved but the physical and emotional toll has been overwhelming.

Many would think that after the event he would receive full support and/or compensation but this is simply not the case. He is simply not entitled to any compensation from the owners of the dogs, or the government and the local council refuse to grant him any help with vital renovations to the house, basically he is pretty much entitled to nothing!

While friends and family kindly raised 4000 pounds to help renovate the house so he could return home safely, his needs are far more complexed and the house is in need of major renovations.

What does he need:

1. A wet room installed

2. A stairlift so he can wash and sleep in his own room not the living room

3. A mobility vehicle so he can have some freedom

4. The rear garden landscaped so he can access the home front and rear and enjoy some time in the sun

The estimated cost is 25k

Dad is old-school, proud and determined not to let this get him down, as a family we just want him to be comfortable, and his complexed needs to be catered for, we believe he deserves a good standard of life and enjoy the rest of his days in happiness.
