Victor Mares and Family

On Sunday, December 8th. Victor Mares fell from a ladder while cleaning the gutters at his mother's home in Greenfield, CA. The impact from the fall was so severe that he suffered multiple fractures in his face, broken ribs and a traumatic brain injury. In addition he suffered a severe brain bleed which has caused swelling, increasing the pressure in his brain. He is in the intensive care unit at Natividad Hospital in Salinas, CA. They are currently trying to reduce brain swelling and keep pressure stable. The road to recovery is going to be long and filled with continued medical care as well as extensive therapy.

Victor is 42 years old, he is the main provider for his wife and 3 children. He has a granddaughter on the way due 12/20. Victor has been working for FedEx for over 13 years. 

Since the accident, his wife Paula has stopped working and has been traveling from Greenfield to Salinas multiple times a day to take care of her underage children. Due to the accident, Victor is not capable of working thus medical bills continue to increase,  along with the increase of gas to travel back and forth.

Days ahead are going to be very challenging for the  Mares family and we are asking for your support, financially and prayerfully. Please pray with us that God will heal Victor fully and completely.

Please pray for all the days he has ahead of wondering, change, pain and hard work. Pray for Paula as she carries everything on the home front while still being by Victor's side and caring for her children.
