Support FWPD Officer Victor Tapia
Victor Tapia is a Fort Worth Police Officer who is struggling with AVN, Avascular necrosis of the hip. Both femoral heads in his hip joint have little to no blood flow, and essentially the bone is dying. The only treatment is Total Hip Replacement. He is currently bone to bone on both sides of both joints, with little to no cartilage left. This causes him to have a limp and he has had to endure a lot of pain for the last several years. They will not replace both hips at once, and each recovery period is 3 months. With 3-6 months between surgeries. He is looking at being out of work for nearly 6 months. Unless he can return to an office type setting. Victor is married with four children. His wife Jenny stays at home to care for the kids so they're a single income family. These surgeries will create a loss of income that this family will have to struggle through since he is the only source of income. I'm sure many of you can relate to the pressure of being the only one employed in the family and the stress that comes along with being out of work. Please help and support this giving, caring and loving family in their time of need. No donation is too small everything and anything is appreciated. Please keep Officer Tapia and his family in your prayers. We will keep you all updated with his surgery and recovery. Thank you!
