For those of you that know Victor, Lisa, and Elijah, you know the miracle story of their lives. Lisa has been through quite a lot in her life. Before they got married, Lisa had brain cancer that was suppose to be terminal. God decided He had more in store for Lisa, and the cancer just disappeared. They were married and then had Elijah.
Over the last few years, Lisa has had many medical issues and bouts of forgetfulness. She also falls a lot. She gets confused with daily activities.
On July 13th, they took Lisa to Paulding Hospital. At first they thought she just had an infection and were treating her for that, and then things got worse. On July 18th, they moved Lisa to Kennestone Hospital and realized that she did not have an infection, but had a slow brain Hemmorage on both sides of her brain. They did brain surgery and removed part of her skull to try to relieve some of the pressure.
Lisa was suppose to be transferred to a rehab center next week but when they came to work with her, they decided that they could not accept her because she could not walk or anything and told Victor that the rehab that they do there is several hours a day and very aggressive. So now they are sorta stuck with what to do. With the way insurance goes, its not always easy.
Anyone who knows Victor like I do, knows how he would do anything for anyone!! He has always stood up for me. He would give you the shirt off his back. If you can, I am asking you to give what you can back to this family to help them out. Even with having insurance, it's easy to go bankrupt doing the "right thing".
