Victoria Mercer's Memorial Fund

Victoria Mercer unexpectedly passed away from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) on Saturday April 24th, 2021 at the age of 24 leaving behind her two brothers Eric and Grant, her mother Carol, and her father John. Victoria had been living with epilepsy for over 10 years but always had a positive perspective on life, despite the daily struggles and hardships.
If you knew her in any capacity, you would know that art is an important facet of her life. Her creativity and talent were unmatched, and she loved being able to express her imagination through her art. Whether it was a commission piece or some doodles for fun, she was an artist through and through and inspired many.
Victoria was a ray of sunshine to everyone that knew her and she will be deeply missed. She touched the lives of her friends and family with her kind personality, goofy sense of humour, incredible talent, and wholehearted love.. and now it’s our turn to give back to her family in their time of need.
As one of her close friends, I’ve set up this fund to help raise money to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services for Victoria’s family as this passing was completely unexpected. Any excess money will be donated to the Epilepsy Canada Charity, a charity that Victoria has been advocating for.
We love you so much and we will miss the light you brought to all of us.
