Victoria Nicole Mattison "Taken too soon"

What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock. Understandably, Teresa(mother), Victor(father), and VJ(younger brother) are devastated and struggling to find the strength to cope with this tragic situation.
Victoria was one of the most beautiful, kind-hearted, and free-spirited people you just couldn’t help but to love. She was always ready to help any and everyone, no matter the situation. Victoria had a big, bright smile that brought many people happiness and a laugh that couldn’t help but make you smile.
Even though Victoria was taken from this earth far too soon, she was able to accomplish many things during her time here. She maintained a 4.3 GPA all through her four years of high school and graduated while being a part of both the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. This intelligent young woman was accepted into Clemson University and was also a part of the University’s Honors Program. She was on the Dean’s list multiple semesters and was named to Clemson University’s President’s List. Victoria just finished her sophomore year and was initiated in the Delta Sigma Theta sorority in April. While she accomplished many great things in her 20 years of life, we know she had a bright and successful future ahead of her.
This unexpected turn of events has affected many people who knew and loved Victoria. She had a loving soul that will never be replaced, her absence will be felt for years to come. During this time, the family will not only need our prayers, but they will need our financial assistance as well. No one expects to bury their child at such a tender age. The family is facing funeral cost and staggering hospital expenses due to the extensive medical treatment.
