Victoria Park Primary School - Lockdown Support

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Friends of Victoria Park Primary School and every donation will help.

The  school's Parent, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is run completely by volunteers. Our aim is to raise money and build a community. The money goes towards things that the school budget can't cover so that all the children have access to the best opportunities available. In the past two years we have funded: play-in-a-week, Salsa week, the school's lantern parade entry,  the year 6 leaver trip, outdoor play equipment and much more. Each year we donate £6k-£10k to extra-school funds.

One of our biggest fundraisers each year is the summer fair. This year we'd planned to make it better than ever: complete with music, BBQ, and lots of fun and games. With the UK currently in lock down due to coronavirus, we're not able to run the fair this year - this is a bitter disappointment: not only because we all love a good party but, more crucially, it leaves us with a big shortfall in our fundraising target for the year. Overall we estimate we've lost circa £5k because of the lockdown.

Every penny that you can spare will get us closer to our fundraising goal for the year, and help us ensure that we can continue to support the children and help enrich their education in the difficult months ahead.
