Victoria's Cancer Medical Fund

Victoria Patrico, age 20, has been diagnosed with stage 4a thymoma cancer this week. This is a very rare form of cancer, especially for a 20 year old. The cancer has spread to her left lung and has permanent paralyzation of the left diaphragm. She will be undergoing chemotherapy, as well as surgery and potentially radiation therapy in hopes to kill off the cancer entirely.

Victoria is taking the semester off of school to focus on her health. She is currently obtaining multiple consultations to better understand and find the best doctor/team to treat her cancer. Treatment should begin within the next few weeks. 

Expenses have already begun to add up. There has already been travel expenses and will also be copay and deductibles to meet. Currently the goal is set at $5,000, but may rapidly exceed this amount. An update will be provided as course of action and begin is determined.
