Victor's fight against cancer

Our dad was Diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on May 6th of 2015. He showed almost no symptoms prior to finding out, we saw no warning sign up until just a few months before he decided to go the doctor for fatigue. Cancer has been apart of our lives for the last year and a half, but it hasn't truly had an impact until now. Initially he responded great to treatment and only recently has he began to drastically decline. In fact we have now reached the point where Chemo is no longer working and it has taken a great toll on his body. His oncologist sent us home with the most heartbreaking news, he basically told us there's nothing left to do but to get our affairs in order and prepare for the worst. Our dad has raised us on his own for the last 12 years, he is not only our father but our best friend and hero. Giving up is not an option. We have both taken time off from our jobs to make him a priority. It is our turn to take care of our dad as he once did his best to take care of us. Unfortunately, we weren't financially prepared for any of this. Since chemotherapy is no longer an option our plan is to cure our dad with alternative forms of therapy and medicine. The thought of going on without our dad is unbearable, he's our whole world. He's been the only staple in our lives, the only one we could depend on and everything we do, we do for him. We're asking for donations to assist with the expenses for our dad's alternative treatments and doctor's. From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank you enough for all the love and support but above all we just want to thank everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We would not have made it this far without you.
