The Vidosh Cancer Wig Fund

In May, our dear friend, former Spy Shop owner,  Detroit Techno tornado and  creator of aesthetic weirdness Sarah Vidosh,  was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She is currently undergoing Chemo and will undergo surgery and radiation in the coming months.

Treatment has necessitated a move away from her work and family back to Chicago, but her attitude remains fierce, and her sense of humor is intact.

Unfortunately however, her car to get her to and from the hospital is not, and doctors have informed her that she will be unable to work for at least a year.

Needless to say, she has some tremendous financial and logistical hurdles to clear in the upcoming months.

Sarah has been such a connecter for so many people and championed so many people's projects, that I hope we can all band together like an NPR pledge drive where every dollar counts, to get momma some new wigs and make sure she has a network of stability in this scary time.

Donate if you can, and reach out and to her and share this even if you can't.  I know she has made an indelible mark on the hearts and lives of many of us weirdos when we were feeling down and needed some love, or just needed to find a person/place/thing/sounding board to help pull off a project.

I would move heaven and earth for this woman if I could, as I know she has tried to do for so many others.
