Vieques Hurricane Maria Relief
Donation protected
In September 2017 Hurricane Maria hit the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. My sister has been a resident and community leader on the island for 15+ years. Since the hurricane hit, power has been out, running water is intermittent and the tourism industry which the island relies on is stopped. Basic neccessities are having to be brought in by Plane and Ferry. I would like to ask the global community to consider a donation to this source so that my sister can utilize the donations to help both herself and her neighbors until civil utilites are restored (which may be as late as May!). No pressure, but you can be assured that the funds will go directly to those in need without and charitable overhead. Cash is king right now and the most needed thing on the island. Thanks in advance!
