Vietnam Service-Learning Experience HOPE

Hello, my name is Hailey, and I am fundraising for an upcoming service-learning experience in Vietnam. I am an Occupational Therapy major, and I have recently got involved with an organization named Brittney's Hope whose mission is to Help Orphans Prosper Everywhere. This May I will be traveling to Vietnam with a group of my peers and other Brittney's Hope volunteers. During my time in Vietnam, I will be going to around three orphanages across the county. Many of the children who reside at these orphanages have special needs. We will be donating adaptive equipment to the children's facilities as well as educating the children's care takers on ways to care for the children who may need different care than the other children. We will also be building homes for mothers in need and children's homes. While we are there, we will be doing some community outreach by giving out rice and bicycles to those in need. The focus of the trip will be on helping the children.

Something about me is that I am very passionate about service and doing good for other especially children. In fact, I plan on being a Pediatric Occupational Therapist when I earn my degree, so that I can help children with disabilities reach their full potential. Another thing about me is that I am very passionate about adoption. I believe that it is our job as humans to love and raise up our world's children, especially with how many children there are in need of loving families.

With your help I plan on raising 5,000 dollars, so I am able to attend the trip in May. They money will go towards transportation (Planes, trains, and shuttles), hotels', food, summer travel tuition, and other miscellaneous expenses. As you know nothing in this world is free, even service work. Every penny adds up in the end and I would really appreciate your help. Thank You!
