Vietnam Veterans Wall that Heals in Johns Creek GA
Tax deductible
The Wall That Heals is now open, just in time for Memorial Day. The Wall that Heals is a 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Memorial honoring the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Services in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.
While the Wall is substantially complete, final trim work, lighting, and benches need to be installed. Also, you may have read about recent vandalism on the Wall where a number of panels were scratched and dented. We don't have the price tag on the repairs, but the repair cost will be substantial. Join us in supporting this GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds to complete the final details and repair the vandalism.
While the memorial is now open, the city is planning a future celebratory memorial event at a time when health, safety, and crowd restrictions permit larger gathering opportunities. Please watch for future announcements from the city on a forthcoming event celebration.
