Central Vietnam's ONLY International Vet Clinic

Great news! We found a vet clinic building that we really like after a lot of searching around Da Nang!
This is the beginning of true animal rescue in which we will be able to finally have proper diagnoses and treatment from internationally qualified vets in a clean, and safe facility, of which there are none currently within 700 kilometers. This allows us to treat all species with the excellent care they need in a facility in which we will able to train local vet graduates high welfare veterinary standards from the very beginning.
As of now, we have no vets to turn to for basic procedures without great risk to the animals due to the complete lack of competent and qualified veterinary care available in central Vietnam. The standard of care for local vets here is so much worse than you could ever imagine if you are reading this in English from a Western country. You simply cannot compare it. Animals are dying from preventable and treatable illnesses, they are not being sterilized properly with sedation and clean surgical instruments, and they are not even receiving the right vaccinations to prevent the spread of deadly infectious diseases which are rampant here in central Vietnam. This is totally unacceptable.
Since we had to close our last vet clinic in Hoi An 2 years ago, we have had to fly animals to Hanoi or Saigon to the internationally trained vets at a couple of clinics there to get them any kind of care. This is not only costly, but extremely stressful and still leaves us in very bad situation with the animals who can't fly like the chickens and pigs who have no vets to turn to at all locally. It also means we are unable to handle any emergencies or manage any new rescue intakes.
Our shelter which has been very difficult to fund and staff can save less than 50 animals a year in our limited space when we have vets, but now without, we have NO intakes at all. With a vet clinic, we can save literally thousands of animals a year by just having qualified vets on staff and our own in-house laboratory. We can perform multiple sterilization surgeries a day for the community YEAR ROUND, which will save tens of thousands of animals being born into a world that cannot care for them. The tiny impact of a shelter versus a full service, mixed practice international clinic cannot even be compared. Saving lives begins with great vets and when we open this clinic with YOUR help, we will finally be get back to doing what we do best: ending animal suffering.
With YOUR support, we can change things here. Please donate today to help us pay our 6 months rent plus one month deposit for a 4 bedroom house in Da Nang that will be the center of a veterinary revolution for Vietnam.
We can do better. The animals of central Vietnam deserve better than this and we will give it to them.
Thank you!
