VIKING DAY UNIT CHARITY MATCH

Hello, I (Sam) and my friend Olly are running a Charity Football Match as a fundraiser in aid of the Viking Day Unit which is a cancer support and chemotherapy unit providing services for Thanet. We both hold this place dear to us and know the incredible work they do as they cared for my mum while she fought cancer, as well as Olly and his brother while they battled it themselves. All the staff work incredibly hard to be kind and compassionate and make the patients and their families feel as comfortable and supported as possible during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

We are organising this charity football match alongside this fundraiser to raise donations to be used by the unit for funding, in aid of the ever wonderful doctors and nurses at QEQM’s Viking Day cancer unit. The match will take place at Margate football club on the 8th June 2024, any in person support and online donations will be hugely appreciated.
