Village Green Gathering Space

You’ve been a part of Ripon’s unique past and present, now this is your opportunity to be a part of its future. Ripon Main Street, Inc. is working to create a more festive atmosphere at the Village Green. This phase of the beautification initiative will establish a more accessible, user-friendly space.

We need your help to raise the funds to acquire amenities such as tables & umbrellas, park benches, flower planters, festive lighting, landscaping, and electrical upgrades. The focal point of the project will be the addition of a 20' x 60' pergola in the center of the Green. The Pergola will be surrounded by a large ADA accessible concrete gathering space.

This is quite possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity to establish this permanent fixture that lies in the heart of historic downtown Ripon. Leave your mark on our local history by sponsoring a beautification amenity of your choice; however, amenities are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost of the project is approximately $200,000. Main Street has applied for grants to help offset expenses, and our goal is to raise $75,000 through donations and sponsorships. Main Street has applied for grants to help offset expenses, and we plan to begin the project in the coming months.
