DONATE NOW! Glendale Women Helping Women Campaign. The Ohio Covid 19 Shutdown has devastated The Village of Glendale Businesses. This is a call to action to support the Glendale Village Business District Women Entrepreneurs’.
Glendale recently featured a “Women of Glendale” exhibit. Do you realize how many of our CURRENT Village businesses are owned and operated by women? My name is Jan Welsh and before I retired in 2012 I had owned several businesses. As a female entrepreneur I know what it means to pour your heart, soul, time, money, blood, sweat and sometimes tears into making your business a success.
Because of my experiences I have a special interest in helping these women in any way possible but we will need your help and your generous, giving spirit that makes our Glendale community such a wonderful place to live.
Blue Bird Bakery, Brow Envy, Dog Depot, Flourish Lifestyle Parlors, Glendale Florist, Meritage, Statements, Stitches, Tamara Berry, Village Gift Shop, and Grand Finale are all Women Owned and Operated Businesses. Your donation will be distributed evenly among these 11 businesses so that they can re-open their doors, bring back their employees and continue to contribute to our community.
These ladies have been there for us! NOW they are struggling to survive during the Covid 19 Pandemic. While you are reading this plea, they are working hard to keep their heads above water, dipping into their savings and doing whatever it takes to come back from this unthinkable blow. As a storeowner said “I’m going to lose everything I worked for these last 25 years.” We can’t let that happen!
Donate to The Village of Glendale Business Women’s Go Fund Me page. Please give whatever you can. $5, $10, $25, $50, $500…They will be grateful for ANY AMOUNT!!! One owner told me that she “would be happy if she only got ½ of one month’s rent”.
Let’s show these women that we appreciate all of their hard work and all that they do for us.

If you want to donate but do not want to use Go Fund Me you can drop a check off at CF Bank in the Village Square. Barb (who has been extremely helpful in setting this up) will deposit your money into the Glendale Women Helping Women Fund. There is also a night deposit box next to the ATM that you can use. Because of Go Fund Me Rules the checks have to be made out to the Organizer: Janilyn Welsh and Glendale Women Helping Women Fund goes in the Memo portion of your check. Barb will deposit directly into that account! Thank You
