Village Voice Union Strike Fund!
Donation protected
CALLING ALL COMRADES!
We, the Village Voice members of UAW Local 2110, are currently in contract negotiations. Management is seeking to roll back basic workers' rights and protections that have been in place since 1977.
Management's proposals include:
-Eliminating contractual obligations to offer quality health care
-Abandoning all commitments to diversity in hiring
-Slashing parental leave and child care provisions
-Significantly reducing sick leave
Voice employees are preparing to fight back against these and other attempts to eviscerate our forty-year-old union contract, even if that means going on strike.
In the event of a strike, Voice employees who are members of the union will not be paid. Your donation will be used to help us survive, and will help show management that the community supports our struggle.
To help us raise funds for this frightening possibility, we humbly ask your support. Any amount helps: $1, $5, $100, or as much as you can give.
Thank you for your solidarity--we appreciate it very much!
