Solar Panels for Nicaragua Village

Mission Statement
As the Catholic community of Shelby County, Iowa we are called to walk in solidarity with the whole human family. This commitment is rooted in the Gospel mandate that every person is to be accepted as if he or she were Christ Himself. We will attempt do this with a spirit of humility by building relationships, friendships, and empathy with the people of the parishes of St. Peter the Apostle in Nicaragua.
The money will be used to assist in a campaign to bring the option of Solar Panels to families of Villa Sandino, Nicaragua. Many of these rural communities are without the option of power and our goal is to make it affordable for all families. The funding is partial, requiring the families to pay the additional part.
