Help Vilma and her Family

On Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, Vilma Jagessar was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Our whole family was in shock, nothing prepares you for this.

Vilma is a wife and mother to 3 children, ages 12, 10 and 7 years. She is also a teacher and a valuable member to the Miami Springs community. Since 2021, she has been through numerous treatments (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery) to manage this disease. Most recently she has had a recurrence of cancer. Vilma is currently undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy with multiple doctors’ appointments throughout the week. Her husband is her full-time caretaker and therefore unable to work. We have started this account to help alleviate their financial burden.

Vilma is a fighter. Most importantly, she’s got God on her side and we know He’s a God of miracles.

El Miércoles, 30 de Diciembre del año 2020, Vilma Jagessar fue diagnosticada con cáncer de colon en etapa 4. Fue una noticia bastante impactante para todos, nada esta vida te prepara esto.

Vilma es esposa y madre de tres hijos, de 12, 10 y 7 años. También es maestra y miembro valioso de la comunidad de Miami Springs. Desde 2021, se ha sometido a varios tratamientos (quimioterapia, radiación y cirugía) para controlar esta enfermedad. Recientemente sufrió una recurrencia del cáncer. Vilma actualmente está recibiendo quimioterapia e inmunoterapia con múltiples citas médicas a lo largo de la semana. Su esposo es su cuidador a tiempo completo y, por lo tanto, no puede trabajar. Comenzamos esta cuenta para ayudar a aliviar su carga financiera.

Vilma es luchadora. Lo más importante es que tiene a Dios de su lado y sabemos que Él es el Dios de los milagros.
