Vince Coleman Memorial Fund
A lover of music, beauty and comedy, Vince Coleman was a life force. “V-Rock,” as some called him, was deeply rooted in the music world and was a part of various bands, groups and ensembles, bringing joy on the keys and organ alike. Vince was also a talented photographer, spending much of his time effortlessly capturing the world around him, life events for family and friends, and all the beautiful moments in between. Vince was a comedian in his own right, using his quick wit and off color humor to delight. He could not pass up a chance to tell a joke or pull a prank, always ending with an explosion of side-splitting laughter. A selfless leader, Vince spent many years of his life protecting and serving New York City. Detective Coleman retired from the NYPD, honored to be amongst the ranks of the greatest detectives in the world. A loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, godfather, friend and neighbor, we will miss you Vince.
We will have a memorial ceremony at a later date to allow all friends and family to come together to celebrate this amazing man and how he’s touched all of our lives.
**We’ve revised our fundraising goal based on incurred costs to settle his final affairs and will host a memorial in October 2020. Please stay tuned for event information. **
