Biegel Packer Jersey for "Wheels For Traeh"
Donation protected
The Biegel family (Vince & Sarah) came across this local Wisconsin Rapids family's story and knew we needed to help out.
For every $25 donated, you will receive 1 "virtual ticket" to win an autographed Vince Biegel PACKERS jersey. Being that this is a hometown cause, we thought a Packers jersey would be fun.
Due to the overwhelming support from Dolphins fans, we will also be donating an autographed Vince Biegel DOLPHINS jersey.
This will go from Wednesday May 13th-Wednesday May 27th at 12pm.
Winners will be chosen and notified on May 27th.
Story:
Traeh Paulin is a sweet 12 year old girl, born with Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome and several other medical issues that severely limit her mobility. (Traeh spelled backwards is Heart). Because of this, Traeh is wheelchair bound. But that doesn't stop her from living with a constant smile on her face!
Traeh's mother, Rhonda, lifts Traeh in and out of her 2005 Chevy Trailblazer any time they need to leave the house. While this wasn't an issue in the past, now that Traeh is 12 and still growing, it takes immense effort to complete this task. Not to mention, Traeh's safety is becoming increasingly at risk.
"Each winter it becomes more unsafe to carry my Traeh in and out of the vehicle with the ice and snow." - Rhonda (Traeh's mother)
Traeh is a full time student at Wisconsin Rapids Area Middle School and attends speech therapy at UW-Stevens Point twice a week. In a few years Traeh will age out of the public school system and will no longer have the luxury of a wheelchair accessible school bus.
Our goal of this page is to help raise enough money so that Rhonda will be able to purchase a wheelchair accessible vehicle. This will increase Traeh’s quality of life by leaps and bounds, and of course it will make getting Traeh in and out of the vehicle safer for Traeh and her mom.
The #WheelsForTraeh team has raised $13,721 so far, with the end goal being $20,000.
Funds raised here will be directly donated to Rhonda, Traeh's mother.
Thank you for your consideration!
