Vincent Kwakha Medical Assistance

Hello. My name is Ian Otinga.
Allow me to introduce Vincent Kwakha. A young man who is 14 years old from Western Kenya. This is a young man who on day two after birth was discovered not to have an anus therefore could not pass stool in what a pediatric surgeon is referring to as Ano-Rectal Malformation. With this complication, it was recommended a surgical procedure to correct the malformation and due to financial resources unavailability the family went to a local hospital in where the procedures were carried. Unfortunately the procedure wasn't carried appropriately in fact resulted in injuring and all destroying the urethra. Upon realization the local hospital referred this family to our teaching and referral hospital in the Capital of Nairobi where they received a recommendation by pediatric surgeon to do another procedure to correct it. In their correction, the pediatric surgeon diverted they urethra to the colon where it was it was joined with the colon to relieve both urine and feces. Vincent could no longer urinate though his penis or did not have anus for fecal matter. This resulted in very many complications including stunted growth, foul smell because stool was looking leaking all around the colostomy. In the recent years Vincent has developed what the refer to us parastomal hernia and because of this the colostomy bags are not able to fit appropriately on the belly and thereby causing stool to leak all over. These incidents have made it hard for Vincent to survive in school because he doesn’t have any friends related to the leaking stool and the foul smell and therefore making it hard for him to be a good student in class because he is not focused because of what is going on around him. when I heard of the Vincent situation I thought of many ways that I could help him but I discovered I couldn’t do it on my own and therefore I decided to reach out to my friends and your friends and Vincent friends so that we can enable him get a corrective surgery which the pediatric surgeon informed it is 100% correctable. Upon consultation with the pediatric surgeon the surgery is likely to cause betwilli10,000 and $15,000 U.S. dollars. It is for this reason that I decided as an individual to reach out to anyone willing to come and rescue and help Vincent have a normal life in using the bathroom, and having more friends removing foul smell around him, and know and enabling him have a life like everybody else. Our wish is to have this surgery done beginning of December so that Vincent is able to recuperate during school holidays and be able to go about school when the new year begins. Thank you for your assistance and God bless you.
