Vincent Samuels Memorial Funds-Murder victim

Donation protected

Unfortunately on Tuesday, May 18th Vincent Girard Samuels, II, was taken unexpectedly in a callous and senseless murder on Eastside of Jacksonville, FL (25 & Danase ). He was God Fearing, a son, brother, uncle, grandson, and nephew. Vincent was taken before he could live the full extent of his life. He was a loyal friend, full of life, and known to be the life of the party. He often spoke with the youth in the neighborhood encouraging them to take the right path. He was a beloved member of the community, known for his resiliency, always laughing and joking. His family will NOT give up, nor will they let his death be in vain. Vincent’s life meant something and his purpose transcends his time on earth with us. We ask for your assistance in laying our beloved brother to rest, leaving the worries of this world behind to walk into eternal peace. On the one hundred and thirty-eight day of the year, he became murder victim #139; more murder’s since 2021 began.More murders than the calendar days can count. DUVAL COUNTY it’s time to take a stand; a M.A.D.D.A.D.S walk in the prevention of murder #140 will be held at a later date (TBA).

John: 1-4: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. For in my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

William Ernest Henley

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.
