Vincent "Vinny" Jordan Memorial Scholarship

Hello Friends, Supporters and Spring Valley High School Alumn. My name is Debbie Hoffer-Samori. I am organizing this fundraiser to acknowledge my fellow graduate and very good friend Vincent "Vinny " Jordan. About two (2) years ago we lost a

remarkable father, husband, friend, teammate, mentor and positive role model in Vincent “Vinny” Jordan. We want people to learn about and appreciate Vinny for who he was and what positive he brought to so many people, whether he knew them or not.

Vinny represented Spring Valley High School in the best way anyone could. He was a friend to everyone. He was always smiling, he had a contagious laugh, and it made him even happier when others did too.

We are starting this fundraiser to bring attention to Vinny and all his positive attributes. We want students from SVSHS to know and understand that good people do exist and that positive people like this should be emulated.

Beginning with this year’s Senior Class, we will look to be awarding a scholarship or scholarships, based on the amount we raise. This is something we want to build on in future years to help “make a difference” to deserving SVSHS Graduates that will be attending college.

While Vinny was a multiple sports letter-man, Sports is not a criteria in being selected for the scholarships. The main criteria are: College Bound, Positive and Supportive Attitude, Active in the community or in charitable organizations, Exudes Honor, Integrity and Respect. Donations of any amount will help us to reach our goals to Honor Vinny and to PAY IT FORWARD
