Vincent Waddell

Vincent has been sick with Nausea, vomiting diarrhea, which turned into acute severe pancreatitis. Incidentally they found a blood clot on his spleen's artery. The pancreatitis is causing fluid buildup in his abdomen and extremities.

He has gotten better. His pain is more moderate. His fever is still there and Tylenol is not making it any better. He is unable to hold down more than a few bites of food without getting nauseous or vomiting. He is still quite fatigued.

He started his journey at urgent team. Then to New Albany ER. which then turned into a pedi- flight to Le Bonheur. He has been an inpatient since 9/13.

He has been consulted for infectious disease because of him running fevers, and being positive for enterovirus(stomach bug) and rhinovirus(cold).

Genetics has also been consulted due to his mother having chronic pancreatitis. They can run a test to determine if he is at risk of having the same disease.
