Vincent(MC OGEE)Recovery Fund

This GoFundMe is created in an effort to help support and raise money to assist our brother Vincent Jerry Asare: NYC Finest MC also known as “The Microphone President OGEE”, through his recovery and medical expenses.

BACKGROUND & REVIEW:

Mc OGEE is an awesome son, husband, brother, father and a friend. He is an honest, hardworking man, humbly asking for assistance through a very hard time.

Mc OGEE is under critical care. He had an accident on August 21st, 2021 in Atlantic City, New Jersey and as a result he has lots of injuries such as; broken right arm, pelvic fracture, rib fracture and broken leg.

It’s been rough few days and he’s continuing to make progress, but your donation can really help towards his recovery physically and mentally.

THE INVOLVEMENT AND THE WAY FORWARD:

On a rainy Saturday, August 21st, 2021, around 8:15pm, on his way to the Adonko Ghana Music awards, held at the Claridge hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey with other passengers, ten minutes to the destination, the car slipped, hit the barricade, summersaulted seven times and fell into a mud. Before EMT arrived, the driver and two other passengers were able to get out from the vehicle however, MC OGEE was trapped in the car and was rescued by firefighters.

The Driver and one passenger survived with no injuries; one passenger survived with minor injury. Unfortunately, Vincent (MC OGEE) survived with severe injuries such as: broken right arm, pelvic fracture, rib fracture and broken leg. Vincent (MC OGEE) was transported to the Atlantic Medical Center in New Jersey and was transferred again via a helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey due to the nature of condition. He’s had CT scans, MRI’s, lots of anesthesia (general a few times and to specific areas), surgery to his right arm, pelvic, right leg and right rib.

He’s in an immense amount of pain because they’re having a hard time finding medicines that work for him/ relieves his pain. His recovery time is expected to be between 6-9 months. His doctors said that it’s imperative that he takes the time to heal properly and not try to rush his healing process as to not re-injure and extend his recovery time. He’s needing 24-hour care, cannot walk or be alone or operate vehicle for 6-9 months etc. The worst part is that he hasn’t been able to see his loved ones due to the hospitals COVID restrictions.

This has been a very traumatic experience for his family and loved ones especially Vincent (Mc OGEE) because he has not been able to sit, walk stand and has been having difficulties sleeping at nights.

We’re expecting his hospital bill to be a lot more than what he’d like to raise but if he reaches his goal, it would be a huge relief and weight off his shoulders... No donation is too small.
