Vinnet Mahlangu

On the 23rd of December, just before this Christmas, I visited a young lady at Beaumont Hospital, in Dublin, Ireland, Vinnet, 29 years old. Far away from her two kids, family and friends, alone on a hospital bed... She could hardly talk, so she used a piece of paper to communicate with me - just a simple question after I entered the room as the nurse announced my coming - "Do you want to tell me anything?" She knew that, as a pastor, I was there for the anointing service, based on the Bible passage in James 5:14-15, to pray for her body and soul... When I finished my prayer, I told her some words of encouragement and I left the room leaving her in God's loving arms. She fell asleep with her hands in a prayer position... The next evening, at 8:00 pm I received a phone call from the hospital... Until the moment Jesus would come again and the dead in Christ will rise again (1 Tess. 4:16), now it is time to support the ones who suffer, the family, not only through our prayers but also financially, as the family is struggling to repatriate the body from Dublin, Ireland, to Harare, Zimbabwe.
The cost is estimated by a funeral company based in Dublin and includes all needed documents and procedures regarding the repatriation expense.
The Social Work Department of the Hospital is also assisting with the specific documents and procedures.
