On March 26th 2021 Our friend, neighbor and local Business owner Kurt Hixenbaugh received a letter stating that he will be facing 4 counts of violating the stay at home orders and failure to file a public health order.

Over the past year, we have seen how these orders have affected local businesses. With most of these businesses being unfairly targeted (with zero evidence to support them shutting down). Kurt decided enough is enough.

Kurts business is essential to his livelihood. A veteran and former LEO Kurt isn’t someone who bucks the system just to make waves. His decision to re-open was a difficult decision and one he didn’t take lightly (enforcing social distancing and sanitizing protocols). But unfortunately, the county has decided to punish Kurt for doing what he needed to do to pay his bills and keep his business afloat.

Kurt has retained lawyer Jordan Cunningham to help him fight this. But he also has the community behind him to help him fight as well.
Anything you can donate to help offset the legal costs is greatly appreciated.  I know many of us want to help or make a stand and now is thetime. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. Please continue to support Kurt, Dawn and Vino Et Amici’s.

Sincere Gratitude
