I’m not certain how to start this, it’s been such a rough road. Chris ( my husband) got assaulted at work back in August which resulted him being put on medical leave and going through treatment and therapy just to be able to function properly. I began working a ton and becoming the main provider, he never got paid from his leave and work comp and they’re almost done with that , last court meeting should be end of this month. That being said I’ve had to take so much time off while also adjusting to new work and we fell behind so hard. I had a plan to work work work until everything payed and now our daughter has been sick for 2 months, she’s stuck in the PICU completely dependent on the machines she’s on keeping her body strong so it can fight. She’s been diagnosed with 2 types of pneumonia, rhinovirus and has Staph bacteria growing in her sinuses. They’re telling us she’ll be unconscious for another week or two and won’t be out of here anytime soon. Between the bills , gas , food and regular expenses I am so devastated we haven’t been able to pull ourselves out of this situation. I’ve started selling our belongings on facebook marketplace to earn extra cash, cut back on only the sole necessities and wouldn’t drive unless it was for school pick up or to make money at work. We’re falling hard and fast and I just had to reschedule and split up our home payment since I’m not even scratching the surface on it. It just seems like everything is falling apart. I can’t even comprehend what Violets medical bills are going to be she’s been here for 5 days and took 2 separate ambulances since she got transferred to St. John first and now here at rainbows. She’s been on every kind of support you can think of that’s keeping her going and alive. We’re so scared for our little girl and now I’m scared for my family. We’re reaching out to anyone that can help, please keep praying for our sweet sunshine baby and thank you everyone for all the kind words that have been given , they’ve been read and heard. We’re waiting for the day they tell us she no longer needs a machine to breathe for her , we just want to hold her again, I wish I would have held her longer before she got sick, you never realize what you take for granted when it’s right in front of you. thank you
