Violetta Tsibranska Bennett Body Lewy Medical Fund
I am Alexander Ilin-Bennett and this fundraiser is for my mother
There is no Cure, but only Care
My mother was crushed financially by medical expenses, related to BLD
In 2017 my mother ended up twice in hospital. The doctor explained that combination of prescriptions gave her False Symptoms of Parkinson and she needed a detox in an assisted living facility. We were informed that there is a suspicion of Body Lewy brain disease. Since she had a pension plan, she did not qualify for any government help and depleted it in the end of 2019 .
She lost her supplemental Medicare (the one that pays 20%) in March, due to lack of funds for premium. The condominium she lives in did not sell. It will go on sale again, but until it sells, she needs to meet her medical expenses, such as dental, medical supplemental insurance, copays and possible judicial expenses due to going into bankruptcy. In addition, this fund will be used for any unexpected expense, required for smooth transition to assisted living and until she qualifies for government assistance.
There is no cure.
She will need home supervision and assistance, and with progression of sickness, full time assisted facility
Funds are needed as soon as possible.
The situation is urgent. In last few months, her behavior became more irrational and hostile , plus her dementia symptoms like visions and nightmares increased.
Thank you and God bless
