VIRTUAL FASHION WEEK FoodShare
Toronto’s multi-arts fashion festival celebrates 15-year anniversary with fundraising campaign for FoodShare Toronto.
This season we encourage spectators to donate to FoodShare Toronto, an organization that has distributed more than 300,000 pounds of fresh produce to low-income families since the beginning of the pandemic.
This program helps specifically Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, People with Disabilities and folks most affected by poverty and food insecurity access affordable, fresh, nutritious food.
In place of purchasing tickets we encourage audiences to donate through the Fashion Art Toronto GoFundMe page, and join the effort to help marginalized communities.
More information about FoodShare Toronto: FoodShare is a non-profit organization that works with communities and schools to deliver healthy food and food education. We believe everyone deserves access to affordable high-quality fresh food. Since 1985, FoodShare has innovated programs like the Good Food Box, impacted what kids eat in school, and improved the way people eat and grow food across Toronto every day.
