Vishwanath and his family needs your help

While the whole world is fighting the ongoing pandemic, we never imagined that we would be fighting this battle for our ever-smiling dear friend Vishwanath and setting up this page.
It is with a heavy heart we request your prayers and financial aid in helping Vishwanath Kulkarni(41 years old) who is currently in ICU in critical condition with ventilator support at William p Clements Jr hospital, UT Southwest Medical Center Dallas, Texas with Liver failure.
On the evening of April 18th, all of a sudden Vishwanath started feeling Nausea, vomiting, and breathlessness. He was rushed to the Emergency where the situation soon escalated with his Oxygen level dropping dangerously low to 68% and he had to be rushed into ICU and on a ventilator to stabilize his vitals. He soon got into multiple complications with abdomen swelling and lung infection.
Vishwanath was then shifted to UT Medical Center for better treatment. A team of specialist doctors was formed to study his case. Since then, doctors are continuously trying hard to stabilize his vitals. At this time, doctors are taking a day at a time and have stated the liver transplant as the only possible way for his survival.
The road ahead is looking long and painful. Vishwanath will continuously need medical attention and is still in ICU on ventilator support.
Unfortunately for Vishwanath, his family had traveled to India last September and are stuck with no visa. The family has reached out to US Consulate to consider the case for a medical emergency as the consulate is closed due to a pandemic in India. Vishwanath’s wife and son are still desperately trying to get the visa and hoping to travel to be with Vishwanath.
Vishwanath is the sole breadwinner for the family (wife and a 10-year-old son). He comes from a middle-income family and has always worked hard to be where he was prior to this incident.
We are continuously praying for his recovery and to offer any support we can. We as friends and family are initiating this fundraising to reduce at least the financial burden for Vishwanath’s wife and parents during this time and take care of his hospitalization, their travel expenses, logistic and living expenses.
