VisibiliT Rapid Response During Covid
Tax deductible
In light of the continuing COVID-19 crisis, VisibiliT has begun providing rapid response emergency support to our membership of transgender and gender non-conforming migrants in the Bay Area. A large number of VisibiliT members have been hit hard by the ongoing public health crisis. Many have lost housing and employment since the pandemic began. This puts them at higher risk of contracting COVID and facing dangerous situations outside of a secure space.
Since the Shelter In Place order, we have been assisting a high volume of TGNC migrants with emergency room & board and weekly food distribution via Mission Meals Coalition. VisibiliT has also been working to connect our membership with services, including, but not limited to housing, health and emergency cash reserves.
With your help we can extend the same assistance to more members of VisibiliT as the effects of the pandemic continue to weigh in on their lives. We are turning to our community to help us raise $10,000 to help cover the room & board for seven VisibiliT members. Please donate what you can and help us share this campaign
With gratitude,
VisibiliT and our fiscal Sponsor, Chavalos De Aqui Y Allá.
